It's not an Opala, but it is the fuel tank of one, from one of the later models, made during the height of the early 90's "dry law" that forced gas stations to shut down after 6 pm and during weekends, so fuel tanks from the era were a bit larger than what we have today. This one carries a whooping 93 litres, or 24 gallons of the good stuff. I wonder if it could be adapted to an earlier model Opala, or even to a Chevrolet Nova chassis.
